skater profil : chris cole

Chris Cole was born on March 10, 1982 in Langhorne, Pennsylvania and grew up skating in the streets of Philly. Since then, Cole has skated his way into the spotlight and has remained there for over a half decade – winning the Thrasher Magazine’s Skater of the Year in 2005, again in 2009, and clenching the Transworld’s Reader Choice award. Perhaps it is his ability to break out tricks that have never been done before on handrails, large gaps, and practically anything remotely skateable that has the skate world in constant awe. He has won practically every single contest and proves he is one of the best skateboarders in the world every single time he drops a new video part. After being announced DC’s newest pro in 2010 Cole continued to dominate by starting his own clothing company called Omit. All the while still touring the world skateboarding. Cole who has yet to find his first Street League win, finished third overall in the league in 2011 and picked up three Wonka Free Ride victories. Cole is always nipping at the heels of the other finals contestants and it’s only a matter of time before he claims his first victory.

skate profil : nyjah huston

Nyjah Huston, was born on November 30th, 1994 in Davis, California. Nyjah is a name that needs almost no introduction in Street League. 2011 was an amazing year finishing up his Berrics Battle Commander and then dropped his shocking “Rise and Shine” solo video part released through iTunes which won him Transworld\'s \"Best Video Part\" Award. His street skating and contest rampage landed him a spot on the revamped DC Shoes pro team. Dominating the 2011 Street League contests series, he was only one victory away from a full sweep of the tour, Nyjah was narrowly beat out by Sean Malto in the New Jersey Championship by an astonishingly narrow margin of 1.9 points.  Nyjah hit the elite Nine Club four times in 2011, the most notable of which was a backside 270 to noseblunt-slide in the Seattle Big Section handrail scoring a 9.9, the highest scoring trick in Street League history. Rest assured, Nyjah will have his eye on a Championship win in 2012. Having won more prize money than any skateboarder in history, the question still begs, “Who can beat Nyjah Huston?\"
